Evaluation System & Promotion Policy

• Students of Std. I to Std. IV will be evaluated on the basis of Continuous Classroom Assessment (CCA); There will be no formal examinations for these students.
• If a student does not have 80% attendance for the entire year her name is liable to be struck off the rolls.
• Promotion will depend on the annual cumulative performance of the student.
• Absenteeism before Assessments will not be condoned. Such absentees will face disciplinary action.
• Students who are ill should not be sent to school to appear for an assessment or project work. Request for permission to return home after appearing for the assessment or project work because of illness will not be entertained.
• Students missing assessments to participate in sports activities and co-curricular activities representing the school or participating at the District, State, National and International levels will receive consideration. In the event of assessments being rescheduled, such students will appear for the said assessments on the revised dates.
• Project Work is now a regular school activity. Top scores and grades are awarded to students who can research and present projects independent of external assistance. Late submission of projects will not be condoned.
